TOURNAMENT BASICS:
#1 1st game Thursday Nov 2, 2006 , then every other Thursdays starting Nov 16, 2006 at Bills house. Start 6:45
#2 Buy-in-fees: $10 for all regular bi-weekly games. None at Final Big Pot Game.
#3 Big Pot fees: Each player pays $10 at each regular bi-weekly game into the Big Pot Fund.
#4 If you miss a game/s you must pay any late Big Pot fees at the next game you play.
#5 Big Pot fees are retroactive. If you join the third game you owe past Big Pot fees of $20 for games 1 and 2.
#6 No new players allowed after 3 games. Last game to enter is Thursday November 30 2006
#7 At the third game we'll decide the best start time and number of games before the Big Pot Game. Probably 11 to 13
#8 A player must play at least 7 regular bi-weekly games. (this allows plenty for illness, out of town on job, etc.etc.)
#9 A player may have an alternate player for themselves at the Final Big Pot Game for reasons in #9a
#9a Serious illness, family crisis or has to be out of town on their job.
#9b The alternate must be known by some of the other players.
#10 No refunds if you quit the tournament or can't play the final game because you didn't play 7 regular games.
#11 Each point earned at regular games increases your starting stack by 1% at the Final Big Pot Game.
#12 Not at your table rule (see below)
#13 Being late rules (see 13a and 13b below)

REGULAR GAME PLAYING RULES:
#1 Starting stacks are (5)$1,000 chips, (10)$500 chips, (10)$100 chips and (10)$25 chips = $11,250
#2 All players will draw for starting tables, seating order and the dealer button at each game.
#3 The table dealer will be a volunteer from the table (high card if more than one wants to deal)
#3a If no volunteers, the dealer will be picked by high card from all the players at the table.
#3b Bill F is exempt from dealer duty but pays $2 if no volunteer.
#3c The table dealer will have choice of seat and be paid $1 by each player at the table.
#3d The table dealer's seat will be center or one seat from center on a long side of the table.
#3e If the dealer's seating position was 6, the player to the left will be number 7 and to the right number 5 and so on.
#3f Dealers will decide the best time for tables to consolidate and color up towards the end of the game.
#4 One re-buy-in for $10 is allowed before the next hand for 1/2 the chips ($5625).You must be out of chips.
#4a If the 25 chip has been colored up you get $5600  If the 100 chip has been colored up you get $5500
#5 Games start with a $25 ante with $100 & $200 blinds for 20 minutes and then follows the Blinds & Antes Schedule
#6 The large blind is double the small blind and the minimum bet. All-in bets can be smaller than the minimun bet.
#7 15 minute break about every hour or three blind increases.
#8 Coloring up chips will follow the color ups on the Blinds & Antes Schedule

REGULAR BI-WEEKLY GAMES PAY OUT:
#1 All buy-in-fees ($10) plus all re-buy-ins ($10) are paid out:
#2 1st gets 50% - 2nd gets 25% - 3rd gets 15% - Best Hand Played gets 10% (hand counts if river card is dealt)

POINTS (%) EARNED FOR POSITION,TABLE AND STARTING CHIP STACK FOR BIG POT GAME
#1 1st place at weekly game 10 points
#2 2nd place at weekly game 6 points
#3 3rd place at weekly game 4 points
#4 4th place at weekly game 3 points
#5 5th place at weekly game 2 points
#6 playing at a regular game 3 points

A couple possible (very unlikely) point scenarios for 11 games:
Best possible:
Took 1st every night 11x10=110, played every game 11x3=33 starting stack = $11,250 + 143%(16,100) = 27,350
Worst possibility:
Never placed and only played 7 games 7x3=21 games their starting stack = $11,250 + 21%(2,400) =13,650

FINAL GAME:
#1 Everyone can play the final game except players that did not play 7 regular games.
#2 Using the same playing rules as the regular games except for #3 to #6a
#3 No buy-in-fees - playing for the Big Pot Fund and trophies
#4 No re-buy-in's
#5 Starting stacks will be $11,250 plus a 1% increase for each point earned (rounded to nearest 100 chip)
#6 Point Leader has table and button choice. If 2 tables, 2nd point leader gets button choice on second table and so on.
#6a All other players will draw for seats. Number one sits to the left of the dealer and so on.

FINAL BIG POT GAME PAY OUT:
1st Place (3 times 2nd place) ($ amount will depend on number of players and number of bi-weekly games)
2nd Place
3rd Place (1/2 of 2nd place)
(If there's more than 20 players there will be 4th and 5th place money - this will be known at the 3rd game)
4th Place(1/4 of 2nd place)
5th Place (1/8 of 2nd place)
Will also have trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and a Sucker Award for 1st out. Trophies paid for from the Big Pot fund.

DEALER MISTAKES:
If the dealer accidently flips a down card up the hand will be redealt. If the dealer forgets to burn a card, the dealer will make sure all players have seen the card, use it as the burn card and turn up the next card.

#12 NOT AT YOUR TABLE RULE:
If a player is at the game but not at the table the game continues. The dealer will (or appoint another player to) post the player's ante and binds (if any) and the player will be dealt cards. If the player is not at the table to make the next play the dealer can check your hand. But if a call or increase in blind is required the dealer will muck your cards, and the next decision will pass to the left and the game will continue. No other player can play for you.

#13a DEALT IN NO SHOW RULE: (can call Bill 778.7405, Lacey 630.0360 or any other player)
If you know you are coming late let someone know. You will be dealt in and mucked until you arrive. You won't lose much the first hour. If you don't arrive within an hour your chips will be removed from the table and you are out of the game. You will not earn the 3 points and at the next game you play you will owe the $10 buy-in-fee for this game and the $10 Big Pot Fund fee. Both fees will go into the Big Pot Fund.

#13b COMING LATE RULE:
If you are no more than 30 minutes late and did not let someone know you can still play. You will be seated at the table with the fewest players. If the tables are even you will draw for a table. Your starting stack will be lowered the approximate amount you would have lost had you been on time and were only posting blinds, antes and folding every hand. The dealer will decide this amount and seat you in the big blind position.

A COUPLE COURTECY RULES:
#1 If you fold your hand, you should not say anything or make any gesters that might indicate what you folded. Any information could give one player an advantage over another.
#2 Players should make it easier for the dealer by using the exact amount when possible and not using large stacks of small chips.

Any problem that comes up we haven't thought of we'll have to vote on it. Bill's decision will break a tie vote.

Since it's winter there may be some re-scheduling for bad weather.
We will not reschedule a regular game unless over half the players call me by 5:00 PM saying they can't get to the game because of the snow. If you can't find a ride call me early and I'll try to get one of the boys to pick you up and get you home. Bill 778.7405
