Drawing and Prize Rules

Home DRAWING and PRIZE RULES (revised slightly Jan. 5, 2011 to changes we already started)
The Basics:
Any player entered in the Thursday night tournament game can enter the drawing.
Entering is always optional and the cost is $2 per game.
Players do not have to enter every night they play.
But entering often will keep your win % higher for the Bad Beat.
Only players entered are eligible to win 1 through 4 below.
There are 4 different ways to win a prize or cash:
1. The Drawing - Winner has 3 choices. (see 1. below)
2. Pocket Pair - 1st player to win a hand holding the pair wins matching guard. (May gamble from pool)
3. Other Prizes - Prizes based on events.
4. Bad Beat Pot - Money that accumulates from entry fees.

Some prizes will have a small cash value that a winner may choose instead of the prize.
40% of entry fees fund the Bad Beat Pot. 60% pay for and buy future prizes.

1. The Drawing

Players entered are assigned a number. The drawing will be held during the first break.
The Drawing Winner has 3 choices:
1. Pick an card guard from the available assortment.
2. Win $4 cash.
3. Gamble for a higher value item from the Gambling Pool of prizes

2. Pocket Pair Winner May also gamble from the Gambling Pool of prizes

How it's Won

Example: Pocket Eights

1st player to win a hand holding the chosen pair.

The pair does not have to be used in the winning hand.
One card may be used in a straight or flush.
An All-In without a caller is a win.
Just be sure to show your pair.

Tie situation: Winner of any tie will be chosen by high card.

3. Other Prizes

	I'm A Luck Sack! card guard with cover cash value $3	Win Best Hand 2 weeks in a row. Winning 3 weeks in a row is not 2 wins
	I'M A SHARK! card guard with cover cash value $3	Player "in the money" 4 weeks in a row. Placing 1st through 5th is considered "in the money". Winning bounties or Best Hand are not. Winning 5 weeks in a row is not 2 wins.
	I'M A FISH! card guard with cover cash value $3	Be the Bubble twice in 4 week period. Player must have entered 4 consecutive weeks. Being the bubble 3 weeks in a row is not 2 wins.
	I'M A DONK! card guard with cover cash value $3	1st or 2nd player eliminated twice in a 4 week period
	I'M A RIVER RAT! card guard cash value $3	Player knocks out 2 or more players at the same time. The river card must have made you the winner. Improving your hand does not count.

4. Bad Beat Pot

* 40% of the drawing entry fees collected accumulates each week to build the Bad Beat Fund. Minimum qualifing hand starts at AAAJJ for Bad Beat Pot #2 When pot gets to $200 the qualifying hand drops by 1 hand each week. AAAJJ to AAA1010 etc.
