Rules for Bad Beat Pot #2
(starts at game #1 on January
6, 2011)
The Bad Beat Pot is funded by using 40% of the Drawing entry fees. So players must enter the Drawing
to be eligible to win the Bad Beat Pot.
New players or players who don't enter the drawing every game:
Would win only a percentage of the Total Pot. The percentage is calculated by the drawings the player entered
starting in 2011 divided by total drawings starting in 2011.
1. The Minimum Qualifying Hand starts with Aces full of Jacks or higher.
When the pot reaches $200
the Minimum Qualifying Hand will be reduced by one hand per week. Example: AAA/JJ to AAA/1010 then to
AAA/99 etc.
2. Both players must use at least one of their hole cards to make their hand.
3. The Minimum Qualifying Hand must be made on the flop or turn.
4. The hand must go to a showdown (played to the end, where all cards have been dealt and players have
completed betting and show their cards to determine the winner).
5. It must be the river card that makes the Minimum Qualifying Hand lose.
If a player wins 100% of the total pot the Bad Beat Pot will start over the next week from the beginning.
If a player wins less than 100% of the total pot the remaining money will be used next week and the qualifying
hand will continue as scheduled. If the remaining money is less than $20 we will start the Bad Beat Pot from the
beginning and add the remaining money to the pot.
