The road will split and then turn left at the bottom of a hill. Right there is the turn off to Left Hand Canyon. LOCATION: Lefthand Canyon 4WD road, FDR286. Take US 36 North out of Boulder, Turn West on County Rd. 94 at Altona. FDR286 is on the North side of Cnty. Rd. 94 just as you enter Roosevelt National Forest
