2009 RC4W Awards Party

The ‘09 awards party was held on February 28th at Dewey Williams’ house. We had a great turnout with 23 people showing up for an evening of good munchies, cold brews and great videos.
2008 was a very active year for RC4W which meant everyone had to “work” to get their awards. The most active award for 2008 went to Marlon Seals. He and Christina were everywhere in ‘08! John Stone was the only Top Dog award winner making every ‘08 run plus the work trip. Marlon also would have made Top Dog had he been able to make the work trip. The Gearhead award went to Chris Ladd because, well, everyone loves superchargers!

The Dipstick award was “won” by Zach Martin. This was an over the top effort and Zach really deserves to be congratulated on a job well done. He rolled his Jeep on a dirt pile here IN TOWN ! ‘Nuff said!

The Hook award was another hard earned effort turned in by Marlon Seals. While in Moab at Easter Jeep Safari he wasn’t happy with the way his motor was running so he and Christina loaded up and drove out to Turn Key Engine Supply in California to get it fixed! Hey, this is the same guy who couldn’t ‘wheel with a broken windshield wiper!

2008 was an outstanding year for RC4W. We had a full plate and everyone feasted well. We had a lot of activities and we had a great turnout on every run. We grew our membership and now more than half of our members have been in the Club for over 10 years! It’s hard to argue with success!

2009 has started off with a bang and we have more new prospective members on deck than at any point in recent years. “Rock On” !

Ride ‘Till Ya Can’t !
