The 2011 RC4W Christmas Party: Girls Gone Wild!

We’ve had a lot of killer Christmas parties over the course of the last 35 years but last night’s party at the legendary Bruce’s Bar in Severence, Colorado was one for the ages and will be talked about for years to come, I guarantee it! Whew! What a GOOD time. It is easily in the running for “best ever”. Many thanks to Kristy Kubal for setting this one up.     23 members of the RC4W family gathered at Bruce’s for this years edition of the Christmas party fully unaware that this shindig would go on for almost 7 hours! The last 2 or 3 hours were totally dominated by the antics of the “Girls Gone Wild” crew of Kristy, Marnie, Krissy, Gwynn, BJ and Stephanie. After several trips to the bar for rounds of shots and “girl talk”, they started having a REALLY good time! Check out the photos. The only thing better would have been to have a video camera there. It’s a good thing they weren’t driving.     Start to finish, at closing time, this was a great time. We enjoyed great food with great friends. We got caught up on everyone’s lives We danced to the music of a REALLY good rock & roll band appropriately named “The Wild Nights Band”. Great band!     We had our last Bruce’s Christmas party in 2006 thinking it would be the last time because Bruce’s was scheduled for demolition. It got bought, remodeled and here we are. I think we kicked off a new era of Bruce’s parties in the finest of traditions. It’s how WE roll! Viva RC4W ! Life’s Short, Ride a Fast Horse! Rod
