Walden was a great time we had a few casualties. Marlon Seals broke his front ring and pinion and bent a front axle shaft. John Stone broke both rear leaf springs catching air… and poor Paul Bickerton had major camper failure.
The weather did some crazy things, snow, rain, sun all in just a few hours.
Our trip up was rather interesting. We left lunch in Loveland just the time the tornados hit Windsor and followed us all the way up 287 to Laramie. We had marble sized hail about 5 or 6 inches deep on the road. Didn’t see any funnel clouds but they were defiantly following us. We had to stop a couple times to check Marlon’s awning on his motor home. Once we got to Laramie and headed west the sky was blue and the sun was shining, thank goodness.
Despite the off and on weather I think everyone even with damage had fun.
